Booking Time- Send me an email at tonegoodstudio@gmail.com and we will get you set up!
Deposit/Minimum/Cancellations- I require a %50 deposit up front at time of booking. You can pay that via PayPal Venmo or CashAp. I can “pencil” you in for your preferred time, but if you have not paid the deposit yet, it is available to be booked for other potential clients. This is to help keep cancellations and no-shows to a minimum. If you would like to come check out the studio and meet me prior to paying the deposit, I fully understand and actually encourage that. The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel after paying deposit- it will go toward the rescheduled session.
Session Setup, Breaks, etc– Please send any instrumental files in advance. This is for your benefit. Otherwise I’m setting up the session in your blocked time.
You are responsible for these files. If these files are coming from a 3rd party (YouTube, somewhere from the internet) you need to email the files to me.
For larger scale sessions I do charge for instrument/mic setup time. Because I’m working. Pretty simple.
If we are taking a break mid-session chances are you booked enough time to where you are already getting beyond a fair deal. So yes, the clock is ticking on your break/lunch.
For Studio– $30/hr $200/day without engineer. This is if you are bringing in your own engineer.
Studio with Mark- Let’s talk about it! Every project is different, so I treat it that way. Email me at tonegoodstudio@gmail.com and we can talk about rates!
Lodging- We have a couple comfy couches, and an air mattress if you need. This situation will get a bit better in the future as we continue to build. There are some great affordable hotels in town, and we know some Air Bnb’ers that we love and trust!
Other Stuff- We are located in a neighborhood. Please respect the surrounding area. There is no smoking inside. You may drink if it is legal for you to do so. No drugs. My dog Dave likes to hang out, but if dogs aren’t your thing I get it (not really) and we can gate him off no problem. Ordering pizza is highly encouraged.
If you are coming from out of town there is a ton of great food around in Downtown Urbana. Someday I’ll make a neat list, for now just trust me.
